About Me
Supporting Children with Dyslexia

With a diagnosis of the specific need your child is experiencing, they can begin to understand their learning style. They can be encouraged to develop their strengths and develop strategies to overcome or work around things they find difficult.

A diagnosis will help you and your child's school to better support your young person to reach their full potential. An assessment can help you to see a way forward, enabling you to help building their resilience, self esteem and supporting mental health.

Dyslexics can do ANYTHING!

Dyslexia Assessment Services

Professional assessments for children with dyslexia.

Professional Standards

An Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) recognises the knowledge and skills of specialist teachers who have followed an appropriate course of study (e.g. a course recognised by SASC) and can demonstrate their professional competence in the assessment of specific learning difficulties.

As reports conducted at any age may be used for DSA purposes, it is recommended that all assessors should hold an APC, to future proof reports for those with dyslexia so that no further assessment should be required.

Expert Guidance

Each assessment report includes guidance for parents/ carers and teachers in how best to support your child's learning style.

The assessment looks at the specific areas of strength and difficulty for your child, offering insights on how best to support your child.

Once at university, the report can be used as evidence of the need for DSA. DSA is financial assistance available to students with disabilities.

Two children are seated on the floor facing each other in a spacious room with large windows. Both are wearing traditional caps and are engaged in reading or recitation, supported by small wooden lecterns. The room has a reflective tiled floor, a ceiling fan, and a bookcase in the background.
